For those who wonder about some of my beliefs, I follow what I refer to as the Creator’s Calendar. I will try to make this short and sweet, but I will give you links to do further study if you so care.
Almost 7 years ago, Yahuah (the LORD) change my understanding of His calendar from what most messianic believers believe and teach on. I didn’t embrace the change easily. I had to allow the Father to renew my mind for at least 6 months. So with what I share, I don’t expect you to jump on the bandwagon and believe the way that I believe. Just allow Yahuah to speak to you with what I am about to share.
I discovered that there are three categories on Yahuah’s Calendar, not two. We usually only refer to two, 6 day work week and Sabbath day. But there is a 3rd category known as New Moon days. A new moon day was never referred to as a work day and was never referred to as a Sabbath day except with the exception of the 7th month.
I also discovered that for three month in a row that the Sabbaths were found on the following dates in scripture on the Creator’s Calendar, the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th. How can this happen with the calendar we are following today unless the calendar we are following today is not ordained by the Father in heaven!
I also discovered that the moon was a sign to point to Yahuah’s Feast days. The Sabbath day is also a Feast of Yahuah, a weekly feast. Scripture declares that the moon is a sign that pointed out when the feast of Yahuah would take place. The Sabbath day is also a Feast to Yahuah. If the moon is a sign to point out to the seven annual Feast, than why can't it also point out to the weekly Feast of Yahuah, the Sabbath day?
I also discovered that the biblical day begins at dawn (sunrise) and not sunset as traditions tells us. Scripture after scripture declares that the day begins at dawn (sunrise).
I discovered that the Julian calendar, which started in 46 BC, which is a precursor to the Gregorian calendar of today was originally an 8 day market calendar. The days went from A-H. The Julian calendar stayed an 8 day market calendar until the year 321 AD. This was the calendar in use by Rome during the time of Yahusha (Jesus). So what day of the week on the Julian Calendar was Yahusha crucified? Was it day A, day B, day C, day D, day E, day F, day G, or day H on the Julian calendar that was in use in the first century.
I also discovered that the Babylonian calendar which is older than the Julian calendar did also exist and was in use in surrounding countries during the time of Yahusha (Jesus) in the first century. The Babylonian calendar followed the planetary week. The Planetary week started with Saturday being the first day of the week, Sunday being the second, Monday being the third, Tuesday being the forth, Wednesday being the fifth, Thursday being the sixth and finally Friday being the seventh day of the week.
In the year 321 AD, Constantine merged the Babylonian calendar with the Julian calendar. The Julian calendar now became a 7 day week. Prior to this the Julian calendar was an eight day market calendar of Rome. Constantine venerated the Sun, and what He did when he merged the two calendars into the new and revised Julian calendar, he did away with the planetary week and he made Sunday the first day of the week and Saturday which was the original first day of the week was pushed back into the 7th column and it became the seventh day of the week. The revised Julian calendar with a 7 day week continued until the year 1582 A.D. where it was changed again by Pope Gregory, and this new revised calendar still in use today known as the Gregorian calendar.
Now back to the Creator’s calendar. So during the the exodus of Israel from Egypt, in the book of Exodus, we find that the Sabbaths are found on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th day of the month in three consecutive months. By following any of the above named calendars, the Babylonian calendar, the Julian calendar, and the Gregorian calendar you cannot get the Sabbath days for three month in a row to fall on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th day of the month.
So my question is, did Yahuah ordain any of these three mentioned calendars? Absolutely No? Then why are we using them to keep the first Feast of Yahuah, the Feast known as the Sabbath day?
Could it be that Yahuah has His own calendar, which I refer to as the Creator's calendar, and that He declares His Feast days by using a sign, which happens to be the moon! So with this in mind, is there a way the moon is factored into the Creator's calendar not only to find His seven annual Feast days, but also to find His weekly Feast day known as the Sabbath day? Yes!
So each month begins with a New Moon day, it can be from 1 to 2 days long. So the first dawn after the day of conjunction of the moon begins the 1st day of the biblical month. A sign will be that evening after sunset, one should see, weather permitting, the first sliver moon. The first sliver moon does not tells us it the New moon day begins, but it tells us that the New Moon days has come to an end and that this is a sign to tell us that the 6 day work week begins in the morning.
At the end of the 6th day work week at sunset, you should see the first quarter moon. This is a sign to tell us that in the morning begins the Sabbath day. Then you have 6 more working days. At the end of the 6th day work week at sunset, you will see a full moon. This is a sign to tell us that the Sabbath day begins in the morning. Then you have 6 more working days. Now instead of looking to the moon at sunset, we look to the moon before sunrise. So prior to the 7th day you should see the 3rd quarter (last quarter) moon which is a sign at dawn, sunrise begins the Sabbath day. Then you have 6 working days. Then we look for the moon before sunrise, if we see the last sliver moon, this is a sign that it will be a 30 day month, or if we don’t see the moon because it is now dark, it is a sigh that it is a 29 day month. The moon cycle is 29 ½ days, so we will see it change from 29 to 30 every month depending on the cycle of the moon.
So every month we have three categories of time, New Moon days, Work days, and Sabbath days. All separate, but working together. And yes this scenario does fit in with the Creation week found in Genesis 1.
I could go on and one, but I have so much. I have put 5 PowerPoint presentations on the Creator’s Calendar to video and I have plenty of articles where you can also further your study on this.
